Windy City Prospects – Youth Teams 12U, 13U, 14U

The Windy City Prospects runs youth teams at the 12U, 13U, and 14U levels. Our coaches will help develop and progress your maturity as a young man, as well as your baseball career. We want our players to not only get better and to enjoy playing baseball, but we will strive to give you the experience of being a vital player to our program and being part of a team.  Our winter training is held at our facility in Northfield where each team has their own dedicated practice times and coaching.

Winter Training and the Summer Season

Our winter training is held at our facility in Northfield where each team has their own dedicated practice times and coaching. We begin in November with weekly practices and run through April right up until the start of our season. We use local fields in Winnetka, Northbrook and Glenview for our outdoor practices and home games. We also offer private lessons at a discounted team rate as well as provide extra skills classes for players who would like to focus on certain aspects of their game.

Our teams participate in either the Mid Suburban Baseball League (MSBL) or the Lake Shore Feeder Baseball League (LSFBL). Depending on the league, the season will run April/May through June/July. We supplement the league season with local tournaments and one out of state tournament if the team is available to travel.

Coaching

Our coaches are dedicated to helping their teams and the individual player succeed. We put the work and effort in, and we look for players with the necessary desire to learn and improve their skills as well. Our teams are the perfect fit for young, focused athletes to have a great baseball and team experience. We teach and promote that hard work pays off, and that it is always important to respect coaches, teammates, opponents and umpires.

Tryouts

Please visit our tryout page for tryouts July through August. We also do private group tryouts after our group tryouts have ended, so please contact us if your player is looking for a spot.
