The Windy City Prospects is now recruiting 15U through 18U players for our 2021 teams! Tryouts will be held in the Glenview / Northbrook area.
Tryout Info:
- July 27th – August 16th, 2020
- Private Tryouts Only – located in Glenview/Northbrook area
- We are not holding group tryouts. Due to COVID, we want to avoid having a large group together where we are unable to ensure that everyone present hasn’t been exposed to the virus. With so many tournaments getting canceled and several teams being shut down, we feel it is in everyone’s best interest for us to hold private one on one tryouts for the 2021 season. Once we have your registration form we will be contacting you to set up your tryout.
This is for players seeking college scholarships and playing opportunities. Our unique program focuses on individual players, their goals and what they need to work on in order to succeed. We work with each player to get them to a college where they will get playing time and the ability to make an impact.
Team Program
Winter workouts for the team will run October through February. We offer arm care and velocity building clinics. These are focused on educating our players on how to keep their arm healthy, while building velocity for all positions. Outdoor practices get going prior to the start of the season and run throughout the summer months.
Tournaments
We will be playing a very unique, one of a kind schedule. Every game and every tournament will have a purpose. Player’s stats and times will be documented. We will play in multiple tournaments throughout June and July.
We will participate in showcase tournaments. These are important for the player’s times (pop time, 60 time, velo, exit speed, etc.) as they are verified and online for college coaches to see.
Coaching
We have professional coaching and practices for our teams. In addition to winter workouts October thru February, we get outdoors for practices during the week, and do specialized individual work with our players. Our teams are the perfect fit for young athletes to have a great baseball and team experience. We teach and promote that hard work pays off, and that it is always important to respect coaches, teammates, opponents and umpires.
